To audition for this class all you need to do is record yourself performing two contrasting songs from musical theater! You can watch this video for an example of what a basic audition should look like!

What is this class?
This semester of Musical Theater is an audition-only course centered on the creation and performance of the fall musical (small ensemble musical). Enrollment in this class is required to participate in the fall musical, and students registered in the course are guaranteed a role in the production.
This class offers a hands-on, immersive look at the full production process—from auditions and rehearsals to performance—while earning academic credit for the work. Students will collaborate as a company, developing performance skills, professionalism, and an understanding of how a fully produced musical comes to life.
After the production concludes in November, the focus shifts to individual growth. Students will participate in one-on-one vocal masterclasses designed to build and refine a professional performing portfolio, with special emphasis on preparing their audition songs for the large ensemble musical.
This course is perfect for motivated performers ready to commit, collaborate, and grow—onstage and beyond.
